Well, Leximation (http://www.leximation.com/toolsearch/) has a pretty
comprehensive list of tools; so much so that I probably won't go back
and update my years-out-of-date FrameMaker Plugins document.

I'm using Frame 8 on Windows XP both at home and at work. I've
discovered that many of the plugins work ok with Frame8 even though
they don't necessarily include it in their list of applicable
programs. That said, these are the ones I currently USE:

Archive
Auto-Text
Character Tools
CleanImport V3.02
CUDspan Tools (mostly BookLooker and Hunt Pgf Overrides)
EZVars V3.02
Master Page Tools
Paragraph Tools
PGF_WHOPPER
Table Tools
TableCleaner
TOC Breaker
ToolbarPlus Express

I also have Sourcerer installed, because I'm hoping to move into
structured/DITA at some point in the future. Once I learn how. If/when
I have time.
