Well, I'm the guy who tries to make my stuff readable and useful, as
part of my job.

This is for benefit of whoever has to actually print it for shipping.

use the "Booklet" feature of Acrobat's printing dialog to actually print
my little doc for inclusion with product.

I like that solution. It means that I don't need to futz with booklet
layout in Word, OpenOffice, or FrameMaker. I just create a
normally-paginated small book and let other people worry about getting
it to print correctly... as long as I've demonstrated that that
a) exists
b) is straightforward for them (a simple Work Instruction).
