The Boeing Mind Map story

I've seen versions of this story on various Web sites: Using a
25-foot-long Mind Map, 100 Boeing engineers were able to learn a
particular process in a few weeks, instead of a few years -- thereby
saving $11 million.

I wasn't able to find as reputable a source as, say, a Boeing press
release or a newspaper article with quoted sources. Most of the sites I
found with this story were trying to sell something. Does anyone know
for sure if it really happened? Any Beignets on this list?
