PDFs with a landscape orientation are quite pleasant to read online, in my
opinion. For some examples, check out of the manifestos distributed at
changethis.com. 

I'm not necessarily endorsing any of the content of these pieces, but
they're interesting examples of what you can do when you tip the page over
on its side.
