One of the things I really like about the products
I work with is that engineers can't "do a complete
overhaul of the functionality" without bringing in
prototype machinists, test techs, etc.  Even if
documentation isn't on the engineer's personal
list of people to call, I can usually depend on
one of those others to let me know that all hell
has broken loose.
