The Wikipedia article on Typographic Justification is at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justification_(typesetting) .

The article on Typographic Alignment is at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typographic_alignment .

This one refers to the HTML 4.01 standard which calls for Ragged Right for
Web documents which is at

http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/present/graphics.html#h-15.1.2 .

My opinion: Always go with ragged right. Jim Jones

PS Sometimes I edit or translate stuff that has been assembled using the
full justification way -- and I always change the formatting back to the
common accepted way which is Ragged Right. Jim Jones

PS Sometimes, like in an ad on a box or something like that you will see
that they have effected full justification for some text (making it 'Right
Pretty'). This is not what I am talking about. I am talking about typical
documents that are to be worked on by many different people.

Hi all,

Looking for a resource that discusses and compares justified and
ragged-right text in terms of readability.

Can anyone recommend such?

Thanks,

Sean
