By "interactive manual," do you mean online Help? From your company's
Web site, I see that the Vanguard V3 Control Software already has a Help
menu, but it's not clear what options you offer there.

There are many apps available for creating online Help, and many means
of deploying it -- individual PC, shared server, intranet, Internet...
The software and skills required depend partially on the result you're
looking for.

Do you have a specific model or example in mind? If you don't already
have one, a requirements spec could address such issues as context
sensitivity, mini-tutorials, spoken word response, etc.

Another advantage of a requirements spec is that it could help you avoid
mission creep: Vaguely defined projects have put more than one
consultant's kids through college...
