More important than the operating system, what is the PC's default Internet browser?

I had a similar error when the Javascript (.JS) file I referenced had an error. You need to find out what is in "line 2" of either your HTML file or in a referenced .JS file.

I have created a help system using RoboHelp 7, and the topics display just
fine under Windows XP
However, the client just notified me that a scripting error displays every
time a topic is selected when running the application under Windows 98
"A scripting error has occurred on this page" line 2, invalid character,
and it references a URL that looks like
...myhelpfile.CHM://imsprojectfile.htm

Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening?
