Highlighter effect in FrameMaker?

Using FrameMaker, is there a way to achieveÂa "highlighter" effect? By this I mean adding a colored background underÂseveral lines of text as if you'd marked it with a highlighter. Word has a direct functionÂfor this effect. In Frame you can add a colored object (such as a rectangle) as a background, but that's not quite the same thing.
