By default, that's how my DSLR names them, in a folder for the date as
well...and I'll tell you, I can't stand putting the year first. Not because
it's a bad idea, but because Sony has a picture browser that places the
images on a calendar...so I know the exact date and have thumbnails for the
sets.

Just preference. A very good suggestion!
