Two levels for business docs, at the most; and for ppt slides, just one. But
basically, you should not use them-that is my opinion. But sometimes you
just have to, right?

At any rate, I would not go beyond that level *for most documents*.

I only nest bullets on Powerpoint slides, where
they exist mostly to slap me on the side of the
head as a reminder to cover something in a
discussion.

In documents, when I feel as if another level of
bullets would help, that tells me it's time to
reorganize the paragraphs.
