A *flounce* post is when one must proclaim that they are leaving a

attention wh*res <http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Attention_whores> are 
nearly as amusing as those who use "deleting your LiveJournal

attention. Rather than quietly leaving an LJ community, they feel they 
must leave a long ass, boring, nonsensical post explaining why they are 
so much more highly evolved <http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Evolution> 
than anyone else in the community. Names may be named, events may be 
recalled, but they are, at essence, a nice, delicious whine.

Like any good whine, flounces are varied in their history 
<http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Shit_nobody_cares_about>, maturity 
<http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Maturity>, texture 
<http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Roman_shower>, quality, bouquet and 
mouth feel <http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Fellatio>, but all boil 
down to a subtle, inherent, and slightly fruity
