You could say "Wolfram Alpha provides various views of factual data and calculations based on that data."
So if you want to read extensive text, including news and opinions, try Google. But when you need just the facts, Wolfram Alpha would be the best bet. (Assuming its collection of data is large enough to contain the facts you're looking for.)
