If you google 'FrameMaker "An internal error occurred while writing
imported graphics in this document. The file has been saved, but has lost
some image data. Please report this error to Adobe Technical Support."'
you'll find that this has happened to others.

I didn't read the linked pages in detail, but a likely culprit seems to be
embedding images directly (copy-paste) instead of importing by reference.
Another likely culprit is that the images are imported by reference, but
then the images aren't accessible anymore. But googling errors of this
sort is the way to go.
