No, it doesn't sound like there are any immediate problems, but there might
be some in the next year or so.

Skype's been really convenient for me, so I've never looked around too much.
This article prompted me to do a little research into alternatives.

acquire the knowledge to understand what you're doing. (I tend to be a bit
lazy about technology unless I'm documenting it...).
