The Word 2007 cross-reference dialog contains only:

"Reference type" drop-down
"Insert reference" to drop-down
"Insert as hyperlink" checkbox
"Separate numbers with" checkbox and field
"For which numbered item" text box

Logically, checking the "Insert as hyperlink" box would format the
cross-reference to match the other hyperlinks.
