I read this article this morning and it definitely matches my experience as well. I am finishing up a position right now that ends on the 31st. I have been here since March, so it was a nice contract. The one before this was 11 weeks. I have had two "permanent" TW positions, one that lasted for three years; but they both started out as temp jobs.
