Dood, that's not what you've been asking at all... but... whatever...

To answer your question:

If a company in vested in the setup of WordPress without first
investigating its capabilities and matched them up to their needs,
then that company was dumb. Now, if you're wondering if WordPress can
be used as a wiki or a blog, the answer is "yes". There's a wiki
plugin for WordPress. Many open source content management and new
media tools allow you to make them do pretty much whatever you
want/need them to do via plugins.
