Laura,

I'm sure it's because your work was written for a specific target audience
that responded to conversational speak. The "learn in 24 hours" series are
what I remember from that period. Your publisher probably went through great
pains to find a decent translation house that could translate
conversationally into the destination language.

Personally, I was always amazed at how one woman could know so much about so
many different web technologies and languages.

What's the next project?
