It seems to me that these days ANY word can be a verb judging from current media and web usage. New verbs from the Olympics: medal and podium (as in "she podiumed in the Grand Slalom").

Just a nit: MSTP doesn't recommend that users check or clear check
boxes. The user is to enable or disable the options linked to the
check boxes instead.

So, "Disable default configuration if desired" would be preferable, if
that is indeed the case.
