I love BeyondCompare, though I'm having trouble running it in a
virtual box Windows 7 machine on my MacBook pro. (I hear it works with

The guys at work swear by AraxisMerge - it does three-way diff and
merge. http://www.araxis.com/merge/ - (I may check this out on my Mac
when I get a chance.)
Both compare files and folders, and both can compare with ftp sites.
