Fast Stone for us too. It's so fast. light, capable, and good for fast saves in the right (small) formats.

Our development team uses it now too for UI mockups and specs which really makes it easy -

sometimes screen shots are there before full software, if the developer took shots on a preliminary software version.

I used the free version on a USB key up until this morning, when I found it
now supports screen captures with mouse actions and voice over. How many
times have you thought, "If only I could just walk you through this
process...?" Now you can! $20 is just a token towards the development of
software that is:

- independently produced
- full-featured
- easy-to-learn UI
- customizable
- fast to load with no overhead

Sorry. I'm beginning to sound like an ad. I'll stop now.
