I used to work with someone who had back issues and couldn't sit in
one place for too long. Solution was to use a high-mounted desk and
get a tall backed barstool kind of chair. The desk was at a fixed
height, but at one that still gave this person the ability to either
stand or sit. I could see the option of standing and working without
hunching over being productive, and would help prevent "office belly".
