If it acts like a duck and quacks like a duck....

The only way anyone is going to get the attention of the key individual who
can affect the requisite changes is through a means of communication for
which there is no way to trace it back to its originator.

Consider the second sentence in the prior paragraph. While not appropriate
for technical communications (and somewhat verbose), it's the way I
ordinarily write. I'm not trying to puff myself myself up when I state that
I'm the only one here to can possibly construct such a sentence (much less
this one), so a missive such as this would be a dead giveaway as to its
author.
