unhelpful error messages, or experienced other site
issues this morning, please accept my apologies. I
think everything is better now, so please try again. 

Thanks in particular to those of you who pinged early to
give a head's up of rather strange behavior. This should
serve as (yet another) reminder not to succumb to the
"oh, yeah, let me just fix that too, while I'm here" temptation.
