That reminds me of what my father told me about a speech at
his graduation from medical school. The speaker was the man who was the
Surgeon General at the time. He said the SG told them, "Your
instructors have spent 4 years trying to tell you everything they know.
We estimate that is about 15 percent of what you need to know. We also
estimate that as fast as medical knowledge is improving, 10 years from
now, half of everything you now know will be wrong. And we cannot tell
in advance which half."
