Thanks, Al. I am just north of Ann Arbor, in Whitmore Lake, but I'm also willing to drive, at least to a certain extent (not sure I'm willing to drive into downtown Detroit).

I think I'm going to pursue two tracks simultaneously: go for the certificate, and job hunt at the same time. If I get a job in the middle of the term, I'll either negotiate flex time to finish the classes (depending on how useful they are) or just drop the class in favor of the job.
