I access a few blogs by some members of Techwr-l, by some editors,
and by a few renowned language mavens, to clear up the occasional
puzzle, to get ammunition when arguing with cow-orkers about
writing-related questions, etc. Mostly I'm just looking for
external muscle (a.k.a. authority) to back up what I already
know, and have said to the unbelievers.

Being a natural writer with decades of experience, I've
internalized the rules aeons ago, so I sometimes need another
resource to articulate (or at least remember the proper
terminology for) why I make certain choices.

I also hit the odd technical blog when I'm desperately seeking
solutions to tool and OS problems. In this latter case, it's
not that I keep bookmarks of certain blogs, it's more a matter
of what Google serves up for any given search.
