Congrats, Bryan! Another resource for you: STC has an Instructional Design and Learning SIG that you might find helpful, particularly if you're both developing and delivering course material, either in stand-up classroom or online format.

Best of luck!
Marguerite

Bryan, congrats on the career change. You may want to check out the
ASTD (Association for Training and Development), which is a membership
organization for training professionals (www.astd.org). Their web site
has tons of useful resource info, discussion boards, et al., plus they
also offer online training and certification programs. I've found ASTD
very useful at those times in my career when I simultaneously handled
doc writing and training.
