Earlier, I asked about a problem I was experiencing with (missing) display of thumbnails in a network folder full of graphic files.

False(-ish) alarm, apparently.

The problem resolved itself when I went to the office and connected directly, rather than via VPN.

Of course, that raises the question of what happens tonight when I'm back home and connected via VPN again ...
