Oh, I did find something promising: click Manage Styles and choose the Set
Defaults tab. But I did that and made everything match but there's still
something else affecting things...

If youâre a Word guru (Iâm using 2007, but this isnât really that version
specific, Iâm sure), read on.
Iâm rebranding a big set of docs for a client. Iâve used Word themes to
quickly change the fonts and colors. Mostly things have been smooth. Iâve
had a few glitches with various steps & substeps numbered/lettered lists,
but nothing that wasnât relatively easily fixed. But...
A few problem docs â they do have different section breaks for different
style cover pages and ToC pages from the non-problem docs â are not behaving
when it comes to paragraph spacing. Although the space before/after settings
look identical to the template styles (Iâve used Reveal Formatting to be
sure), physically the paragraphs are different, which no surprise means that
boilerplate Copyright text that just fits in the well behaved docs is
expanding to a 2nd page in the problem docs.
I can see that the âDefault Paragraph Fontâ looks different in the problem
docs from the template. But I cannot figure out how to set any of the
properties for it.
The font theme contains the font face, but of course nothing about the font
size. Iâve defined all my paragraph styles to be based on a custom
BodyText.0 paragraph style, which is based on (no style).
Iâm at a loss and would welcome any suggestions!
Thanks,
-Monique
