This may be true, but I can't imagine hiring a person who would say this about their former employer in an interview.

If the sentiment was conveyed in a negative light, then that would not work well for the employee. People do need to make sure that what they say is positive.

For example, if a TW was let go from a company that preferred ad hoc project management and the TW preferred systematic project management, then the project management approach could be both a valid reason for an employer letting the employee go and a selling point for the employee in interviews. I did leave a job because the company owners refused permit any project management strategy. My next employer hired me to implement project management.

Another possibility is where the TW interviews with a competitor of the previous the employer and says, "I expressed my views that your company has higher standards than my previous employer."
