Tenuous or not, I will still have to watch just to see if there's actually any mention of any aspect of the written instructions themselves (and, inevitably, how much they bad-mouth the writers who produced them).

BTW...helicopters will definitely need to be saved for later episodes; otherwise the project will be shut down after the resulting death and destruction. I'm hoping they manage to get a few shows in the can before they kill anybody.

Technical writing has only the thinnest and most tenuous connection with this show.  It's about a couple of people possibly killing themselves trying to use stuff they've never seen before without any training.  I'm pretty sure they will do their best to drum up "will Billy blow himself up by pressing the wrong button" moments.
