TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
We had a discussion in here a while back about using GitHub in relation
to technical communication. I just ran across a project where the person
loves GitHub and is trying to make some changes that would make it
easier for writers to use. He doesn't talk about the usual areas of
writing that we talk about in techwr-l, but it gives a lot of good info
(like why you would even consider GitHub for writing) and also links out
to wider discussions on the issue. Very interesting!
