Hi Jill,

I guess it all depends on whether these goal lists will stay in the file
format, or collected in a different format by the executives. The company I
work for has an in-house web application where we can free-form enter our
goal criteria, measurement, and colleague feedback. In our case, Excel
wouldn't work because cutting and pasting from Excel into a web form text
box is just a mess, if it works at all.

That said, I much prefer the apples-to-apples comparison that Excel allows.
After spending 20 years building complex Excel spreadsheets and apps, I've
grown quite fond of it.
