My favorite quote applies to your situation.....and yes, I have done
this...walked out of a dead-end, impossible job. When I closed that door, a
better one opened. I didn't see it at the time, but I know now that had I
stayed, I would not be happily retired. I would probably have severe health
problems, or dead.
