That's true of many jobs, including some I've held myself â but not this job, which requires *daily* onsite presence. We operate paperfully in order to comply with FDA's CFR 820 Part 11, so we can't hire anyone remote. There's also a lot of personal interaction with the warehouse. I'd love to work from home occasionally, but that only happens when the snow's too deep for driving.

Maybe you should ditch the requirement that it has to be a local who works onsite. What's wrong with remote workers? There are a heck of a lot of qualified people out there, and let's face it, with a good enough net connection 99.9% of this job can be done from a raft floating in the middle of Lake Michigan.
