Hi,

As a control freak, I never use the RH css. I create custom style sheets, for print and for layout then turn off the RH style sheets. That's how I get around that. I don't have to deal with legacy help files much and those were created using Help Workshop.

My deal is how to get around the RH look for like the folders and stuff. It looks dated.

Rather than starting from scratch, why not start with one of the
included layouts / skins and tweak it?

If you have TCS, I'd put the source in FrameMaker. That's much more
powerful than standalone RoboHelp. Let RoboHelp pick up the styles
from FrameMaker, then tweak them with CSS as necessary.
