Creative Technical Writer

Our client located in Seattle has an opportunity for a Creative
Technical Writer to join their team.The role is responsible for the
creation, sourcing, curation and distribution of various technical
content across multiple communication platforms. Candidate should be a
creative, detail oriented, and actively stays ahead of industry
trends.

This individual uses their understanding of the marketplace to advise
and lead internal partners through the proposal, conception, and
implementation of technical program promotion campaigns via the
various internal communication channels. This individual will partner
with subject matter experts and developers, leveraging common
information in the development of complementary documentation.

Responsibilities

â Participate in social media strategy â how best to package and
deliver technical content
â Manage a communications plan with various communication deliverables
for multiple programs
â Write and collaborate on technical content, such as:

o short posts for internal promotion of a service or technical concept
o perspective pieces --- doing external and internal research on a
technical trend (like Cloud or the Internet of Things), synthesizing
that information and composing articles for internal publication.
These may be written from scratch or collaborated on with Enterprise
Architecture leads.

â Collaborate with partners to create content-driven solutions to fit
marketing and promotional needs
â Participate in creative brainstorms
â Presentation design
â Participation in team meetings, briefings to articulate creative vision
â Content creation using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign,
for a variety of digital mediums including e-mail communications,
dashboards and presentations
â Utilize communication collateral for promoting department programsâ
content to encourage participation as required by the programs
Community Management
â Moderate internal social/communication platforms to encourage
conversation, engage with each community, remove spam content, respond
to reader questions and assist with customer service questions in a
real-time fashion.
â Identify opportunities to better communicate with our audience as
themes reappear in messages, posts, and questions.
â Coordinate and manage meeting schedules, agendas, attendees,
materials and follow-up plans.
