Found on a friend's FB page, and posted (after a little bit of salty
language removal, and concealing the actual name of Big Box) with her
permission.

At Big Box Remodeling/Hardware Store...

Vee *pushes button for assistance*

"CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE NEEDED IN FASHION BATH! CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE NEEDED IN
FASHION BATH!"

Dude: ...?...

Vee: "Hi. I have a question about one of the tubs with the surround walls.
Can you see if the American Standard requires a mortar bed?"

Dude: "It probably doesn't. The surrounds are made for quick install."

Vee: "Right. But I saw on the website that one does require a mortar bed so
I'd like to know that before purchasing it today. The mobile site doesn't
have as much information as the regular site or I'd look it up myself."

Dude: "Well, they all need something under them in case it leaks but it
shouldn't be a problem."

Vee: "Could you look it up, please? I'd feel better double checking. I
really think I recall that one needs a mortar bed."

Dude looks it up....Looking at page together...

Dude: "I don't see anything about a mortar bed."

Vee: "Can you select Installation Instructions, please?"

*New window pops up*

Giant, bold text: "THIS BATHTUB REQUIRES A MORTAR BED"

Vee: "Thank you."
