That hasn't been my experience. I believe only Acrobat Reader is needed in
order to comment on shared review PDFs.

But the problem people sometimes encounter is that they can only add
comments once they open the PDF file in the Reader application itself
(which, for me, means saving the PDF file locally and opening it in

As far as I know you cannot comment on a PDF file that you have opened in
your web browser, only one you are viewing with the Acrobat Reader software.
