Hi Robin,

Thanks for the tip! We tried Diigo, but couldnât work out how to share comments with others.

I think this is an opportunity for someone to create a proper, business-orientated tool that is secure, configurable and feature-rich!

Regards

Ian

I've used Diigo<https://www.diigo.com/index> with some success for allowing SMEs to comment on the docs website. It's also a great personal tool for research.

Hi Robert,

Yes, thanks for that. We have, of course, already spent time searching the web for these tools, but I was hoping someone out there might actually have tried some and could make a recommendation.

The Wikipedia article on Web annotation seems to contain most of the tools that one can find by web searching. We have now tried a few, and the closest that comes to what we want is Hypothes.is. It's not a complete solution, but it is free and easy to install and use.

If anyone uses this or any other tool, I would love to hear whether they find it useful.

Regards

Ian
