1. want people to easily interact together. For that, there's still
nothing like physical proximity. Let's say an issue comes up that should
be solved quickly, and impromptu getting people together will help.
2. they don't trust people to give their all when at home.

There are points to this, though maybe they don't need people to come every
day.
