I've had bad luck with VirtualBox's dynamic virtual disk so I use
fixed size. Might work better with Windows, I don't know, I use it
only with Linux.
You probably want to set the virtual Ethernet adapter to bridged, set
the shared folder to auto-mount, and enable the bidirectional
clipboard.
