This book, "Pencil Me In", looks good and I'm going to buy it:
https://www.amazon.com/Pencil-Me-Business-Drawing-People/dp/0996006036/

It has a lot about pencil and paper drawing skills, but seems to cover
various diagramming methods too. I'm a big fan of concept mapping, which
looks like it's in there.
