Thank you for passing along that template. While that template looks nice, it screams for reworking it to use styles other than Normal.

This thread is relevant to what is going on in my life as I was helping my son, a freshman at UNI with a MIS (Management Information Systems) major, write a resume over Thanksgiving break for his business seminar. He was frustrated because he has worked at Fareway (a grocery store chain) from the time he turned 14 until now (he just turned 19). I really like your point about 'Your "master resume" could go back to a childhood paper route' as we brainstormed a list of all the different tasks he has done over the last five years. I will encourage him to keep that list of tasks updated for his future reference.

Your use of "playful format" sounds intriguing. I tried out this format,, and people wanted the chronological format with clear mentions of where and how I used the requirements in the job description. The Money 2017 resume looks amazing but it doesn't get leads.
