Good answer, Thorsten. But can one drive Mac apps from the keyboard?

Using *AutoHotkey*, here is an example of what I can do in PowerPoint
running in Windows:

^!k::
Send,!HUNB{TAB}{DOWN}{RIGHT 3}!C{TAB}{RIGHT 4}{ENTER}{TAB 3}{ENTER}
Return

In relation to selected paras, pressing *Ctrl*+*Alt+K* places a blue
checkmark bullet in front of each.

Is something like that doable using some utility on a Mac? I don't need to
know the utility, just if it's feasible.

Thanks
