Subject:Insert dynamic link from Visio to PowerPoint From:John Posada <jposada99 -at- gmail -dot- com> To:Tech Writers <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Fri, 22 Jun 2018 14:42:02 -0400
Hi Tech,
This is a weird one.
I have a PowerPoint that has 40 slides, each is a "dashboard" of a process .
I have a Visio with 40 tabs that contain flowcharts of individual parts of
a process. That same Visio is the basis for putting flowcharts in various
other documents.
âWhat I want to do is insert a dynamic connection from a defined tab (of
40) in the Visio into the Dashboard in PowerPoint, but when I construct the
Object Properties in the PowerPoint, to point to the specific Visio tab,
all I can do is point to the file.
This has to be between Visio and PowerPoint and other tools are not an
option.â
âWeird? yep. Would it save me hours of work later on? Yepâ
