Eric - about setting up a computer lab in your department. In addition to
deciding on how you will spend your $200,000 (hardware/software/and such), give
the architecture/arrangement some serious consideration, particularly if you
want the space to be conducive to collaborative work. A good source for this is
Cynthia Selfe's _Creating a Computer-Supported Writing Facility: A Blueprint
for Action (Computers and Composition, 1989, ISBN 0-9623392-0-2).
