Thanks to everyone for meeting and greeting me at the STC Annual
Conference in Minneapolis this week. It was great to see such
TECHWR-L list luminaries as LaVonna Funkhauser and Eric Ray, as well
as various lurkers (you know who you are)! Thanks to LaVonna and
Eric for passing out the yellow "techwr-l makes me :-)" labels. They
made identifying fellow list subscribers easy and fun, and it was
fun being recognized ("oh, so YOU'RE Matt Abe!).

I also appreciated the many positive comments I received on the
writing and design of the daily newsletter. It was a total panic
working on the newsletter each night, especially since I was back at
LaserMaster WORKING in the early a.m. and late p.m., but it was great
fun. I am anxious to see what the D.C. chapter has in store for the
newsletter. Our goal was to match the high standard set by the Dallas
committee's newsletter. We had a great staff, a generous print
vendor, and a super editor/fearless leader in one of the
_nicest_ persons I know, Libby Pomroy.

Finally, we in the Twin Cities Chapter were proud to show off our
beautiful downtown Minneapolis, and relieved that the weather was
near PERFECT throughout the Conference (great for those sunny lunches
or twilight cocktails out on the sidewalk tables along the Nicollet
Mall!).

SEE YOU ON THE INTERNET AND IN WASHINGTON, D.C. NEXT APRIL!! GOOD
LUCK, CONNIE KIERNAN AND STC #42 HOST CHAPTER COMMITTEE!

GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN, SAUL!
